Amplicon | PMC

Voor on-board I/O uitbreiding zijn PMC modules een veelgebruikte oplossing. PMC staat voor PCI Mezzanine Card, en maakt gebruik van de PCI interface standaard. In onderstaand schema is het concept weergegeven.

PMC modules worden gebruikt in combinatie met VME of CompactPCI boards. Dit kunnen CPU boards zijn, maar ook speciale PMC expansion boards.
