Data Acquisitie
We offer a range of PXI cards that enable monitoring of signals or waveforms for integration into Windows based operating systems. High speed digitisers offer the sampling speeds found in oscilloscopes, whereas multifunction cards can monitor up to 64 signals at lower speeds. Many products here also provide analog output signals including the PXI-2500 which can output 8 waveforms simultaneously. High channel digital I/O can be provided with a CompactPCI card but it will not use the PXI triggers.

Timing / trigger modules
A PXI chassis will provide a 10MHz clock signal that is used by all the devices fitted, however for precise triggering the Star trigger is prefered. Our Star trigger card ensures that all samples are triggered at precisely the same time by using an oven controlled crystal oscillilator and the PXI Star trigger lines. For portable solutions a GPS signal can be used to ensure systems in different locations are triggered at the same time.

Three types of switch device are available to suit your application, including relay, multiplexer and matrix modules. They can connect many "devices under test" to one measurement device such as an Oscilloscope, and all include Safety shutdown logic in case of power failure.
